Build Your Immune System
What Keeps your immune system down?
Stress
- Mental: worry and fear. Your body does not know a real stress from a perceived stress. The same response happens.
- Physical: Injury, an accident, over exercising
- Chemical: Over 84,000 known chemicals are allowed in our food and products. Others get in. No one knows what the interaction of these chemicals can do. Our bodies were not designed to handle this.
- EMF’s: some people are really sensitive to these. Others are and do not realize it. 5G is coming and scientists are warning of the severe impact this can have on our cells.
A little stress is fine and part of our natural response system. Always being in the fight, flight or freeze sympathetic dominance mode will wear you down. Stress causes imbalances of your hormones and makes organs, like adrenals and liver to work over-time. Stress causes inflammation and inflammation is behind most, if not all, health problems.
Unhealthy Gut
Your gut and your immune system are directly linked. It is also connected to your mental health. If you are consuming processed foods and drinks, stressed out, not sleeping, have been on antibiotics, have digestion issues, poop issues then it’s safe to say you have gut issues.
Lack of Nutrients
Let’s face it, many people are overfed and malnourished. This happens by not only eating processed foods and too much bread, cheese and meat, but it also comes from not getting enough of the good stuff in.
Too Much Sugar and Foods that Break Down Into Sugar depletes your immune system (I’m not talking about fruit…eat lots of that!).
Pathogens
Virus, mold, bacteria, parasites and heavy metals are too abundant in a lot of our bodies. They can weaken the immune system and are linked to all kinds of conditions like skin problems, autoimmune issues, Type 2 Diabetes and cancer, to name a few. We need to keep these pathogens to a minimum. You should be in charge of your body, not them.

Clean up
- Ditch the processed and fake sugars, chemicals, preservatives, artificial ingredients.
- Base meals around real food: fresh or frozen fruits and vegetables.
- Eat mostly food without labels. If the ingredients are words that you do not know, put it down.
- Go natural on your body and cleaning products.
- Greatly limit the news and social media. The constant bombardment of bad news will make you crazy.
- Change the negative thinking and self-talk to a positive. If you are worried you are going to get sick, you probably will. That’s how it works…what you think about, you bring about.
- Antibacterial over-use has caused super bugs. Alcohol wipes are proving to do the same thing. Wash with soap and water.
Sleep
- You need a full night’s sleep every night. If you are not sleeping, you are not dumping toxins and repairing your body properly. If you can’t sleep, there are a lot of natural remedies. Start cleaning-up as a first step.
Supplements
- Along with fruits, vegetables and other real foods, water and herbal tea, supplement what you are missing with whole-food based supplements. Look for supplements brands that use whole foods, like Standard Process or Pure Synergy, instead of artificial/chemical-based supplements.
- Take supplements to boost your immune system like Whole Food Based Vitamin C or liposomal Vitamin C, Vitamin D, zinc, cod liver oil has vitamins A and D, calcium lactate, thymus support, spleen support, adrenal support, medicinal mushrooms, echinacea, elderberry.
- Supplements to reduce your viral load includes colloidal silver, oregano oil, myrrh, cat’s claw, monolaurin, St. John’s Wort, Garlic. Don’t take all of these at once. Rotate and go slow.
Be Positive
- Practice joy and gratitude.
- Meditate, do deep breathing, chanting, or just sing at the top of your lungs.
- Enjoy community.
- Collective intentions/energy create a measurable field and can bring about positive or negative change. Do you want to be in a world that is collectively freaking out or bringing about peace? Look up Dawson Church, Joe Dispenza and Lynne McTaggart for more information and how you can get involved in a collective heart coherence.
Get Out in Nature
- Connect: Sit, walk, watch, stroll, feel the sun on your face, feel the earth below.
Let Go of Trauma
- Trauma gets stuck in the body, let it flow out.
- Breath work, meditation, energy work, hypnotherapy are a few good ways to release trauma.
Be in Control
- You are 100% responsible for you. Decide to clean up and practice the above.
- Don’t be a victim. Be the creator of your own health!
- Stop waiting for the government and pharmaceutical industry to come up with a vaccine or medicine to keep you safe. It’s up to us as individuals.
Let it run its course
- If you run a fever, your body is heating up to kill off invaders. Let it! Help it out with Calcium Lactate and Vitamin D.
- If you are excessively sweating, throwing-up or have diarrhea, again, let it happen. Your body is getting rid of what it doesn’t want.
- Keep hydrated with water, coconut water, bone broth and vegetable broth. Sugary, chemical drinks like Pedialyte and Gatorade are counterproductive.
- If this persists for days and you continue to get sicker, seek medical help.
Move
- If you are in an acute phase of illness, chill out and stay put.
- Otherwise, move your body often throughout the day. Movement helps stimulate the lymph nodes that will pump the junk from your body.
Sweat
Make sure your organs of elimination are running well.
I’m here to help you figure out what exactly needs to be addressed to have you running optimally!
Your Body’s Immune Defenses:
- Thymus: where the t-cells mature after their production in bone marrow and go on to fight invaders.
- Spleen: Largest organ in the lymphatic system that filters blood and keeps bodily fluids balanced. Old red blood cells are recycled here. White blood cells and iron are stored in the spleen.
- Adrenals: release hormones to help regulate your immune system, response to stress, metabolism and blood pressure.
- Phagocytes: a type of white blood cell to engulf bacteria, dying cells and foreign particles.
- Lymph Nodes: filtering system that helps rid the body of waste, toxins and other unwanted material. It transports white blood cells through the body in a liquid known as lymph. There are 500-600 all over the body. Exercise, rebounding and lymph massage are all great ways to get the lymphs moving. They do not have a pump of their own, so it’s crucial to get them moving.
- Bone Marrow: Red bone marrow produces red blood cells that carry oxygen throughout the body, white blood cells that helps fight infections and platelets which helps clot the blood. Yellow bone marrow has mesenchymal stem cells which produce cartilage, fat and bone. Bone marrow makes over 200 billion blood cells everyday.
- Stem Cells: stem cells can develop into many different types of cells. They do not have a specific function in the body, but can become specialized. They can also continually renew. Keep stem cell healthy article here.
- Bowels: In the cell wall are more than half the cells that produce antibodies. Gut flora (good bacteria) in the bowels make it difficult to allow pathogens to settle and go into the body.
- Stomach Acid: you’re stomach acid should be high to be able to kill pathogens.
- T lymphocytes inspect cell surfaces.
- B lymphocytes produce antibodies.
- Tonsils: Tissues contain mostly lymphocytes and can immediately activate the immune system.
- Vitamin D: Fat soluble steroid hormone. You need Vitamin D to get calcium to the blood. Vitmain D is essential for fighting off bacteria and virus. Sunlight gives you what you need. get 10-20 minutes without sunscreen. Darker skin needs more time. Take a D3 or Cod Liver Oil supplement in the winter or if you can not get out in the sun. Vitamin D deficiency started to come into light in the early 2000’s when research papers started to link low D levels to MS, cancer risk, mental illness, bone health, autoimmune disease and poor lung capacity. Your liver and kidneys need to be functioning properly in order to activate it.
- Calcium Lactate which is ionized calcium: phagocytes need calcium to destroy bacteria, virus and dysfunctional cells. If you don’t have enough available calcium, it will be taken from your bones.
- Vitamin C: Initiates phagocytes, adrenals need it to function properly. It’s used biosynthesis of collagen, involved in protein metabolism. It’s an antioxidant that limits the damaging effects of free radicals. Use whole food or liposomal Vitamin C. Vitamin C is usually labeled as absorbic acid. If you need some in a pinch, that’s fine, but in order to get the full benefits, go with whole food supplements.
- Organs of elimination include skin, liver, kidneys, lymphs and colon.
